Meet the Team

Growing up overseas as the youngest in a small family, I was immersed in a culture where animals were an integral part of daily life. From a young age, I developed a deep fascination with pets and animals, which inspired me to pursue a career as a Veterinarian. With over a decade of experience working with both farm and companion animals, I have refined my skills, particularly in internal medicine and soft tissue surgeries. My practice is built on fostering trusting relationships with both animals and their owners, and I am passionate about educating clients on their pets’ health and longevity.

Outside of my veterinary work, I find joy in gardening, cooking, and traveling. I take great pride in nurturing my houseplants and have recently ventured into aquaculture and aquarium care. Evenings often find me experimenting with new recipes, especially those with a spicy kick. Sharing my culinary creations with colleagues and friends is one of my favorite pastimes.

Dr. Arslan Ahmad is a dedicated small animal veterinarian with a special interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. He graduated from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan, in 2012 and subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Theriogenology (Animal Reproduction) at the same institution. Dr. Ahmad moved to Canada in 2016, practicing veterinary medicine in the Greater Toronto Area and Sarnia, Ontario. In mid-2022, he relocated to NewYork, where he worked as a postgraduate trainee at the Advanced Veterinary Medical Center and gained additional experience at Banfield Pet Hospital. His passion for veterinary medicine later brought him to the warmer climate of California in mid-2023, where he currently practices in the Bay Area. Outside of his professional career, Dr. Ahmad enjoys traveling, reading—especially autobiographies—learning new languages, and running. His enthusiasm for both medicine and adventure reflects his dynamic and compassionate approach to veterinary care.
